Hello, Peder,

I just want to let you know that on Monday we met Don Uggla. Our daughter, Sheryl, had a luncheon for him at her home. Elaine and I were there also.

We were able to tell him a few things about Sweden and the wonderful contacts we have had with Släktöreningen Uggla. Don Uggla indicated that he and his wife would like to visit Sweden sometime, and that maybe they could schedule this to include the 29 October 2011 meeting at Riddarhuset.

We hope all is well with you, Ane and your family. We have been quite well except that my multiple sclerosis keeps advancing. My walking ability has declined, so I must always use a mechanical scooter. This has made traveling difficult for us.

We now have several Uggla descendants living in Minnesota. I remember some years ago there was discussion in the Släktföreningen about a possible tour to the U. S. If this should ever materialize, I am sure we could be of help in arranging a visit to this area which has always had a strong Swedish identity.
